Alexander McQueen Fall 2009.

To Alexander McQueen the art of story telling is of second nature.  Alexander’s shows are known for their ability to take transport an individual to another place in time. For this is simply Alexander’s Forte, an ability to deeply inspire others through his creativity.

With a runway set to resemble an English street, McQueen presented a collection that was dark, gothic and with melancholic sensibility. To associate the fashions of such show with the Victorian Era in London would be to classify these as time pieces, which certainly they were not. Elegance and grandeur, grunge and gothicism, together in one.

  1. I’d pay good money to see someone walking down the street in that last one!
