The first look at Paris Fall 2009, comes from Francisco Van Benthum. A collection said to be inspired by the church, one which seemed to play between two extremes; goth and the opposite. The all black ensembles which commenced the runway show introduced the dysphoria  which characterized such collection. But as the show continued there were all white ensembles, gray, navy, and even red and fuscia.

The designer’s impeccable tailoring was seen through jackets, the billowing pants which undoubtedly are editorial fashion at it’s best.  The standout rouched collars even seemed a little victorian, but were paired with more modern garments like the lame pants or a shortened jacket.
