The collection was based on the usual Owen’s aesthetic; monotone pairings, a wide silhouette, billowing fabrics, and architectural sensibility. It all seemed very goth, typical Owens, but still there was something quite different. As ultra modish and very elegantly tailored coats paraded down the runway, and sharply cut jackets were added to ensembles, not forgetting what looked like fur scarves added in to accessorize, you realized it. Could this possibly be considered chic? Indeed.

In the world of Rick, Gothic & Chic coexist- as in the latest collection.  The leather jackets and industrialized look of other jackets are essential to Rick. Layering, in plentiful -another essential. Trousers were cropped perhaps to show the elaborate boots down below. Au courant was the concept of garments that secured at the waist.

The wearability of such collection was surprising, given the characteristic approach of Owens to menswear. The pieces here felt conventional to an array of aesthetics. For the gothic devotee and the avant garde enthusiast.
